VocRehab

The American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation headquarters is located in El Reno, OK at the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes Department of Education building. We have two (2) other offices in Clinton and Watonga.

The purpose of the American Indian Vocational Rehabilitation is to provide culturally relevant Vocational Rehabilitation services for American Indians who are disabled and significantly disabled and that reside on or near the tribal designated eleven (11) county service delivery area. This area includes: Beckham, Blaine, Canadian, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Kingfisher, Major, Roger Mills, Washita and Woodward counties.

Since 1997 we have served over 500 eligible American Indians with disabilities. To be eligible for the program, four (4) items must be met.

  • An individual must be a member of a federally recognized tribe.
  • An individual must reside within the designated service delivery area.
  • An individual must have a documented physical or mental disability that is an impediment to employment.
  • An individual must require vocational rehabilitation services to allow them self to prepare for and engage in suitable employment, to include self employment, telecommuting and business ownership.

If you believe that you may be eligible or you know someone that may be eligible for this program, the wise decision would be to make an application for services. We have a highly qualified staff and three locations for your convenience.
