Our Mission 

To promote health and wellness among the Cheyenne-Arapaho community, to educate tribal members in the prevention of diabetes, empower our diabetic patients to cope with the complications of diabetes and provide support for healthy lifestyle choices.

Target Population

 Enrolled Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribal Members or members of a Federally recognized Tribe that resides within the 10-county Cheyenne-Arapaho service area.

Community Fitness Services 

The Fitness Staff is dedicated to providing support for individuals and groups in their quest for healthier lifestyle. The Fitness Staff works with area schools to provide additional support for fitness goals of these programs.
Willie Fletcher Wellness Center offers:
¨ Personal Fitness Assessment
¨ Cardio, Strength Training and Free-weights Equipment
¨ Personal Training Assistance
¨ Fitness Classes
¨ Weight Management Assistance
¨ Functional Strength Training
¨ Post Rehabilitation

Annual Tribal and Community Events include:
¨ Walking Club
¨ Annual Diabetes youth camps and activities
¨ Sport Clinics
¨ Fun Walk/Runs
¨ Summer Swimming Activities
¨ Adult/ Student Health Screenings
¨ Community Education Classes

Community Health Services 

The Registered Nurse provides:
¨ Case Management
¨ Diabetes Education
¨ Eyeglass Program - offers voucher towards the purchase of eyeglasses for Diabetic patients who meet the program requirements. Assistance may only be utilized once per year. We are not responsible for lost, broken, or stolen glasses. Over 150 quality frames available to choose from, as well as, various lenses, tints, and offer bi-focal, or tri-focal options. Expanded payment arrangements are available with the Elder Care Program, Crisis Assistance Program, and the Johnson O’Malley Program. See each program for further details. Services are also available for private pay, public and tribal employees. This program is available to travel to communities upon request.
